Robert Lee Marshall passed away peacefully at home, under the care of Hospice, surrounded by family on Monday, January 20, 2020. He was 84. He was born in Ransomville, NY on March 31, 1935, a son of the late William and Margaret (Roberts) Marshall, Magno. He married Jeri (Slish) White in 1971, and has resided in the Town of Niagara since 1976. Bob is survived by his wife Jeri; two sons Michael (Lynda) White, David (Stacey) White and daughter Bobbi-Lynn Marshall all of Niagara Falls. He is survived by two brothers, George (Jaci) Stivers of Florida, Carl (Thelma) Magno of Niagara Falls, NY; five sisters, Sally (late Roger) Chaplin of Pekin, NY, Mary (late Sam) McCulloch, of Texas, Marie (Nelson) Latour of Florida, Michele (Pete) Swearengen, and Sharon Messing, both of Niagara Falls, NY. He is survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, William P. Marshall, three sisters, Theresa Freer, Nancy Macri, and Delores Myles and one granddaughter Amanda. Mr. Marshall was stationed in Germany as a medic while he served in the United States Army (1958-64). He worked at International Paper in North Tonawanda until its closing, and then worked at Union Carbide/Elkem until he retired in 1996. A Celebration of Robert's life will be held Saturday, January 25th from 3-6 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th Street, Corner of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094-1231.
