Milan Henry Valencic, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 19th while in the caring embrace of Niagara Hospice with his wife and daughters at his side.
Milan and his wife, Katherine, were married in West Palm Beach, Fl. on September 2, 1978 where they shared their lives together for 22 years before relocating to Colchester, CT for 10 more years. They finally retired to Niagara Falls, NY for another 11 years together.
Milan was proud of having served in the US Marine Corps and his 36-year career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft where he served as a senior data analyst. He was an avid South Florida angler and duck hunter. He also loved his video games, and was pretty damn good at backgammon.
He leaves behind his loving wife Katherine (Rogala) Valencic and his wonderful daughters Michelle F. Valencic of Gales Ferry, CT and Rebecca J. Valencic of Colchester CT, and treasured family/friends Frances and Dennis Meierer. Milan was predeceased by both parents, Ralph F. and Elizabeth Valencic, and his brother Ralph Valencic. He is survived by his brother Joseph and Nancy Valencic, and sister Elizabeth Ann and John Gomes.
There is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. If anyone would like to honor Milan's memory in a tangible way, the family asks for donations to the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots organization. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
