Agnes J. Witkowski, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at home, well under the care of exceptional home care aides and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 16, 1937 and she was the daughter of the late John S. Witkowski MD and the late Agnes (Kubala) Witkowski. Agnes was a Nun for several years and worked as a teacher for the Niagara Falls Board of education. She worked at the 60th street school and also St. Stanislaus Kostka School, until her retirement. She was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, along with being a life lifelong member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. She was a devout catholic and attended masses regularly, along with helping decorate the church for the holidays and events. Agnes was always willing to help anyone, anyway she could. She was a very kind, loving and caring person, who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her brother, Jack (late-Linda) Witkowski and her dear friend for 50 years, Judith (Vic) Muto. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Irene E. Agrawal. Per Agnes's wishes. There is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial & a Graveside Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM on Monday, June 20th at St. Stanislaus R.C. Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard, Buffalo, NY with Rev. Slavomir Siok officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CEMETERY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
