Henry E. Michelson, 88, of Lockport, NY passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Seneca Health Care Facility. Born in Manhattan, NY on January 13, 1934 he was the son of the late Henry E. and Lucy (Decker) Michelson. Henry entered the United States Air Force on December 5, 1956, and served his country until his honorable discharge as a SSGT on December 4, 1962. After serving his country, he began to work as a Foundry Operator at General Motors. Where he remained until his retirement. Henry was a Dallas Cowboy and New York Yankees fan. What he loved to do most of all, was to spend time with his family. He is survived his sons, Michael (Paula) Michelson and James Michelson; grandchildren, Jeremy, Andrew, Zachary, James and Joel; sister, Veronica; sister in-law, Barbara (Tom)Fallon and borther inlaw, Edward Grace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Dolores F. (Grace) Michelson; son, Dennis E. Michelson; brothers, Richard "Mike" Michelson and Robert Michelson; sisters, Tessie and Rose. Per Henry's wishes. There is NO PRIOR visitation. Graveside Military Honors and burial will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, August 19th at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 3806 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
