Obituary of Karen Craft
Wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Mother In-Law & Sister
Karen S. Craft, 63, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 under the care of Hospice at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Clarion, PA on December 1, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Janet (Reasor) Craft. She attended local schools and graduated from Oil City Senior High School.
At the age of 18 years old, Karen moved to Niagara Falls, NY where she met and married her late husband Keith F. Johnston. She attended and graduated from Cosmetology school in 1972, she loved to cut and style hair. When she wasn't perfecting her craft as a licensed cosmetologist, she enjoyed going to bingo and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren. Karen will be remembered for being a very loving and giving person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Babbette R.(Carl) Ealy and Nathan Johnston Sr.; grandchildren, Carl Jr., Isabella, Joshua, Nathan Jr. and David; great-grandchildren, Logan, Jacob and Kaylee; sisters, Brenda Budzinski and Mary Ann Craft and brother, Danny Craft.
Friends may call Friday, May 4th from 1-4 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 4 PM with Rev. Patrick Bradley officiating. Burial in will take place at the convenience of the family.
