I was a childhood friend of Jacks. At the time we both lived on the block of Pierce avenue, between 17th and 19th street. His dad ran the pizza shop on the corner of 19th and Pierce. In those days a slice of pizza at Nicolas was 10 cents ! I remember Jack owned a new schwinn bike and all I had a old 3 speed English Racer to get around with. I would have died for a bike like Jack's!! The Alessi family lived just above the pizza shop at the time, It's funny but I only remember Jack having the one sister Maria at that time. I often wondered if he was still in the Niagara area after the many years that have passed by since we were kids. I wish we had spent time together to reflect on the memories that were spent together as kids in the neighborhood back then. I will miss him dearly. I wish the all the best for his family and loved ones in the future. God bless you all, and take care ! Dan Caldwell
I was lucky enough to meet Giacomo and become is regular phlebotomist and friend. I always looked forward to seeing him weekly along with Debbie. He is greatly missed already
