Obituary of Adeline M. Mojeski
Adeline M. Mojeski, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 2, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Krzynski) Justyk. Adeline attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was a Butcher/Meat Packer for 55 years at Slipko's. She was a hard worker and had an excellent work ethic. Adeline was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #1465, where she served as past President and Chaplin and participated in many charitable activities including dressing as the Easter Bunny entertaining and providing treats for the children at the United Cerebral Palsy Association. She was a member and treasurer at the John A. Duke Senior Citizen Center where they loved her homemade baked goods. One of her favorite events at the center was Polish music and Polka dancing. She was an exceptional cook and baker. Her placek was second to none. She loved to sing and dance. She would sing a Polish tune Stolat (May you live a hundred years) on everyone's birthday, to express good wishes and good health. Noted for her feisty personality, she would bring smiles and laughter to everyone. She was always dressed to the nines, loved to converse, laugh and smile. Most of all she loved her family and told us often. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie A. (Tom) DeRosa; sons, Stephen J. (Roberta) Mojeski and Jerry (Pamela) Mojeski; grandchildren, Michele (Josef) Rothpearl, Kelly Klingman, Adam (Lara) Mojeski, Martin DeRosa, Kimberly (Brandon) Turner, Matthew Mojeski, Dr. Jacob (Kyla Tucker) Mojeski; and great-grandchildren, Austin Mojeski, Halina Mojeski, Ian Klingman, Alice Klingman, Hailey Mojeski, William Mojeski, Marissa Mojeski and Cru Turner. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Stephen W. Mojeski; brothers, Theodore (Muriel) Justyk, William S. (Stella) Justyk and Edward Justyk; sisters, Genevieve (Arthur) Rutki and Bernice (Earl) Reynolds. There is NO PRIOR visitation. Private Funeral services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY., will take place at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory to charity of one's choice.
