Obituary of Robert E. Koperski

Robert E. Koperski, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 18, 1945 he was the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Gregorski) Koperski. Robert worked in the Campus Safety Department for 25 years at Niagara University, retiring in 2015. He was an avid fisherman and charter captain, at one time owning Mari-Chele Charter out of Wilson, NY. Years ago, he worked for Niagara Ambulance and also the Niagara Drag Strip. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann (Pietrzyk) Koperski; daughters, Marie (Alan) Hinkley and Michele (Chris) Carosella; grandchildren, Lisa, Jimmy, Stefany, Katelyn and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Amber, Stephen and Emily; brother in-laws, Benedict (Carol) Pietrzyk, Mark Pietrzyk, Ronald (Lisa)Pietrzyk and Dan (late Margaret) Foley; sister in-law, Christine Argentieri. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Mia. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Fred (Joann) Koperski. Friends may call Friday, November 27th from 3-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 28th at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
