Marty Stevens, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Nottingham, England on September 26, 1945 he was the son of the late Victor J. and Joan R. (Alexander) Stevens. Marty worked as a dispatcher for Leaseway Transportation, retiring after 34 years with the company. Marty loved to travel whether by air or sea. Traveling to Spain, Russia and Alaska to name a few. Marty and Lois enjoyed going on cruises. He also was a professional photographer at FedNews in Toronto, during the 1960s. Most notably recognized for photographing the Beatles, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, Prince Phillip, Liberace, and Cassius Clay. Marty was also a proud member of the Lewiston Beer Club. He was an avid wine maker with his good friends, Rich and Christina Cadille. Leaving behind a legacy of countless people who he loved to share his Vino del Penguino for almost two decades. Marty's greatest passion was golfing. He is a former member of Niagara Falls Country Club, where he enjoyed volunteering at the Porter Cup. Marty was an active member of Prince of Peace, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and alter server. He also volunteered his time for the Meals on Wheels program. He was also a member of Troops 849 & 816. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois V. (Zaleski) Stevens; children, Robert (Caren) Stevens, Jeffrey (Michelle) Stevens and Stephanie (Travis) Burdette; grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Zachary, Jonus, Cameron, Isaac, Camille and Marshall. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, John (Hazel) Stevens, Jacqueline (Dieter) Gonnsen, Charles (Jennifer) Stevens, and Philip (Nancy) Stevens. Friends may call Tuesday, March 30th from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, corner of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, March 31st at St. Vincent DePaul Parish (Prince of Peace site), 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev.
